STANLEY'S "HOME OF THE BEANIEBURGER"
In 1971 Joan and Stanley decided to buy the small
barbecue place where they were working.
Because many high school and college young people who
frequented the place always said "lets go to Stanley's", they
named it Stanley's.
A few years later they became S.J. Hill Inc dba Stanley's
with a registered trade mark of, "Stanley's - Home of the
Beanieburger".
It has been a wonderful family operation. Their daughter,
Alice, began working with them when she was very young and her
husband James, began as a student working after school. James is
now general manager and Alice is the accountant.
 Due
to geography changes in Wichita Falls in 1981, the second
Stanley's was opened. It's main function is take out business.
Alice is now manager along with her accounting duties. Then in
1988 a new Stanley's was built behind the original building.
There was no seating in the first building and now there was
seating for one hundred. What a change....
